An English rose

Last month I had the pleasure of spending 4 days at Barton court in Colwall. I was able to work with a beautiful Model Chloe Rose, who is a videographer too, a talented MUA Becky Seal and a beautiful Dress from Bexbrides, Bespoke, Designer and Vintage Bridal Studio.

I really hope you like the images

Prima's Mehndi, Potters Bar

Prima’s Mehndi took place at Potter’s bar, at one of our family friends house. Well, it was a family affair and it was a good one. I love taking pictures of my family and have the advantage of being really close to the bride and the family.

The mehndi ceremony is an auspicious ceremony, which since ancient times represents the purity and cleansing of the soul. The smell of hena is supposed to be healing and calming for the bride to calm their last-minute nerves and help with all the stress of the wedding. This is just my interpretation of the ceremony..hehe, don’t quote me on this.

I was able to capture these happy moments for the family and be the part of the day too. Prima looked absolutely gorgeous in the two outfits she wore. I was so happy I got to capture some beautiful portraits of Prima and her sister Rachana.

Trendy Shoreditch elopement story London

Last month I was in Brick lane, Barbican and Angel area in London for an elopement. It was a dream come true as I am in London all the time and I finally got to photograph in this beautiful city I love. I mean who wouldn’t want a doughnut on their wedding day and a burger for dinner! It does not get trendier than this.

A modern yet rustic wedding at a barn

A Modern barn wedding shoot inspiration

Back in November, I went to do a shoot at the Partick’s barn with other vendors who collaborated to make this shoot happen. I have always loved a dress in Blush, but I am also a black color kinda girl. I love the contrast in the colors on the two brides.  The idea behind the shoot was to show that you dont have to go rustic to get married in a barn!.

I really hope you enjoy the images. Please also check out my feature on the Unconventional Wedding blog link here.

Barry and Laura's Surprise Proposal in London

A surprise proposal Chelsea bridge where Barry asked Laura to Marry him!

Oh my! it was both nerve-wracking and exciting for both me and Barry for different reasons of course. Barry asked Laura to marry him, and SHE SAID YES!!!, of course, I was nervous because I got to document it! Look at these two, so madly in love.  They are planning to move back to Ireland before they go traveling. I mean it the best way to start the new adventure of your life. The man knows the way to his woman’s heart here people!

I love how happy she looks and feels in this images so do Barry. He is more so relieved she said yes 🙂 !

Many congratulations to you both
