Wedding at the Sutton Bonnington Hall

Roshni Photography – Wedding photographer London

Andrea and Barry got married on the 6th of July at the Sutton Bonnington Hall. the wedding ceremony took place in the ceremony room and the themed with Winnie the Pooh, the room was decorated with Lavender and the conffetti was made of Bubbles. I love having the captured all the little details from Winnie the Pooh. Andrea’s friends made a speech with the Pooh references which were just so fitting for the kind of relationship they have.

Engagement Party Ruislip London

Suren and Ria’s engagement party at the Venue 5 in Ruislip, London

Suren and Rai booked me where they wanted to capture some natural shots of the event. Of course, Indian ceremonies are very lenghty and pricise. So many details to consider when you are photographing the day. I was at the venue from the morning and then in the evening for the engagement party.

Here the two families came together and celebrate the engagement of Suren and Ria. I love how everyone was in such a joyous mood all day that it flew by so fast.

Here are some portraits of Suren and Ria that we were able to snap just before they evening party.

Sopewell Ruins Engagement session St Albans

Sopewell Ruins Engagement session St Albans

Joe and Jacquelyn are getting married in July and I cannot wait to photograph them. Jacquelyn opted for the Sopwell Ruins  for the shoot as this was the place where they both fell in love and spend most of their day getting to know each other. I did not have to direct them throughout as you can see from the photos they both are so natural in front of the camera.

Alternative wedding at the Shenley club, Radlett, Hertfordshire

Sarah and Sam’s Wedding at the Shenley Cricket club , Radlett, Hertfordshire

Where did the day start?

At the Hilton Hotel Watford. I joined Sarah and her bridesmaids at the bridal room at 8:30 am to capture the moments before the wedding ceremony and the bridal getting ready. The main reason was that Austin, their son was going to come and visit early before all busy day and wish his parents good luck. I love these moments as these are some moments that the couples will remember through the photographs.

Sarah then started getting ready for her 1 pm ceremony with her bridesmaids. The laughter in the room was uncontrollable. I really loved the moment when the bridesmaids had the first look at Sarah in her wedding dress.

Sarah’s Dad surprised her with the wedding car he hired for the day which was absolutely royal!.

The Ceremony

The ceremony was at the Shenley cricket club, amongst their close friends and family. Sarah rocked her wedding dress with a black diamonte silk belt and her personalised Converses which matched with Sam’s too. the dress was from David Bridal.

The Reception.

Sarah and Sam danced on Digital Bath by Deftones for their first dance. It was so electric. The reception also had the Gaming consoles and a wrestling theme through the venue. Did is mention they are a big Game of Thrones fans? They even had their tables named after the game of Thrones houses.

Sarha and Sam’s wedding was so much fun, it had a chilled out vibes and lots of laughter.

Peckham engagement shoot

This adorable couple is so gorgeous and had me swooning over these images since I took them. It was a beautiful sunny day in Peckham, London and we decided to take a stroll through the spring blossoms. Bride to be Kennedy who wore a checkered dungaree and groom to be Datham in his double denim look looked ever so trendy and hip. Kenndey’s hair is absolutely to die for and this is one of my favorite pre-wedding shoots so far.

Mehndi ceremony in an Indian wedding ceremony , Barnet, Potters Bar

Indian Mehndi, Vidhi and Haldi ceremony , Potters Bar

Prima’s Mehndi took place at Potter’s bar, at one of our family friends house. Well, it was a family affair and it was a good one. I love taking pictures of my family and have the advantage of being really close to the bride and the family.

The mehndi ceremony is an auspicious ceremony, which since ancient times represents the purity and cleansing of the soul. The smell of hena is supposed to be healing and calming for the bride to calm their last-minute nerves and help with all the stress of the wedding. This is just my interpretation of the ceremony..hehe, don’t quote me on this.

I was able to capture these happy moments for the family and be the part of the day too. Prima looked absolutely gorgeous in the two outfits she wore. I was so happy I got to capture some beautiful portraits of Prima and her sister Rachana.
