The Wedding

The ceremony took place at the Sikh academy Uxbridge, and was a traditional ceremony with family and friends at the Gurdwara, which was lovely. The ceremony included prayers from the priest. It was a beautiful occasion, full of so much love.

After the ceremony, we went down to the fields for the portrait photos, which is such a great time for the newly married couple to have some time to let it sink in, and I got some really special photos of smoke grenades. The weather at this Fusion colorful wedding London wedding was so sunny, it was a stunning day.

The reception was held at Amrita’s parent’s house. The venue is perfect for weddings because it’s so cosy and relaxed, and it’s got such a modern vibe, especially outdoors where the dinner was held.

For the reception, the couple had organised delicious canapes for their guests, and everyone had a blast. Guests were then called for dinner, which was a slap-up meal – it was delicious. the canapes were Indian street food in bite-size plates going around to make sure everyone has a taste of all the dishes.

The party

After dinner, they cut the cake, and the party got started. The Spotify playlist played all the best songs to get everyone dancing.

Lovely words

“Thank you so much for the photos! We absolutely love them, they really capture the day perfectly! We’re very pleased!! And it was lovely to have you there for the day.”

Paayal and Anish got married at the grand Stockley Marquees, Stockley Park UXBRIDGE. It was a Traditional and colourful Indian Traditional wedding, with peacocks as the main decor and an open bar to keep guests entertained.

The Traditional Indian Ceremony

The ceremony took place in the Main Marquee and was decorated with flowers, which was lovely. The ceremony included glitter confetti. It was a gorgeous occasion, full of so much love.

After the ceremony, we wandered around the venue doing portrait photos, which I love doing, and I got some gorgeous photos with the Hindu ceremony. The weather at this Indian Traditional wedding was glorious, it was a beautiful day.

The Reception

The reception was held at the same venue. The venue is perfect for weddings because the whole Marquee can be converted into a big reception room with a DJ booth, and Dance floor, and it’s got such a modern vibe, especially in the evenings when the party gets going.

For the reception, the couple had organised a Roulette table and casino styled party for their guests, and everyone really enjoyed it. Guests were then called for dinner, which was Indian cuisine – it was delicious.

THE PARTY

After dinner, they had their first dance, and the dance floor was packed all evening. The DJ played a mixture of Indian music and dance beats. Anish’s little Sister Neha sang their first dance song too which was just so emotional.

ADVICE FOR PLANNING YOUR WEDDING

Advice when planning an Indian wedding, get a family, friend or ushers to shout out the group shot lists or use the main mic of the venue. This way you will get the portraits done faster and the remaining guests can relax and have lunch in the meantime.

I loved this Indian Traditional wedding so much. If you’re getting married and looking for a wedding photographer, get in touch.
